Tony Mitchell, Director/Producer

For over 20 years Tony Mitchell has worked with a variety of distinguished institutions and design firms to create pioneering projects in experiential design.  These include the Smithsonian Institution, The Hermitage, and most recently BRC Imaginations Arts.  
 
Out of the 30 projects in which Mr. Mitchell has played a creative or technical role, four have been honored with a THEA Award for Creative Excellence, the themed entertainment industry’s highest award.  These projects, produced by BRC Imagination Arts, include the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum, Ford Rouge Factory Tour, and Trail by Fire for the National Museum of the Civil War Soldier.
 
With years of experience working on high profile projects, Mr. Mitchell has developed a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of attraction design.  From concept through installation Mr. Mitchell has helped clients develop story strategies to meet objectives and deliver compelling experiences.
 
One of the most important aspects to any attraction design is the role that media plays in the process. To meet the needs of a demanding audience, Mr. Mitchell been at the fore front of utilizing emerging technologies in unique ways to enhance the story teller process and wow audiences.  The technologies have included blended multi-screen HD presentations, multi-layered HD projection, and fully immersive 360 degree HD environments.
