Learn techniques that will improve the "look" of your work
This workshop provides a rare opportunity not only to become familiar with a vast range of lighting tools, but also to learn the effective use of those tools under working conditions.  Led by a professional Director of Photography (DP), through demonstrations and hands-on exercises, participants will learn a vast array of lighting techniques which will improve the “look” of their work. 

Hours: start time 9:00 AM all three days

After finishing this three-day  workshop you will be able to:

  • Identify four fundamental principles of lighting used by professionals.
  • Select the most efficient lighting instruments for a given project
  • Understand the tools and layout of the professional grip truck
  • Properly use grip equipment and lighting instruments
  • Select filters and gels to help provide substance and style to your work
  • Light close-ups, medium shots and wide- angle shots.
  • Light interiors both night and day
  • Light exteriors both night and day
  • Use lighting meters and waveform monitor to assess the ISO of your HD camera and expose your images more creatively
  • Apply safety procedures to protect yourself .
