Sure you have heard of 3D, but is what you know accurate, is it up-to-date? Does it reflect real world production experiences from projects that created this industry? Meet and interact with a panel of experts and content creators who have contributed to the most compelling 3D entertainment hitting screens today: sports, feature films, music videos, concert films and more. As more and more successful productions hit the market, questions and myths continue to grow: are there enough cameras? How does it impact the creative process? Is there a workable, robust post production process? Who needs to be on set? Does 3D cinematography change everything for the cinematographer? Get the answers and learn about the projects, including box office giants, from the people who made them. Myth Busting 3D will be moderated by Vince Pace – who has played a key role in almost every recognizable 3D production spanning across entertainment categories. This INTENSIVE is a comprehensive overview of the new P2 VariCam 3700 targeted for DPs, DITs and other production professionals. The VariCam 3700 raises the bar for cinematic image quality, offering a native 2/3” 2.2 mega-pixel 3-CCD 1920x1080 imager, including 10-bit, 4:2:2 full-raster recording (AVC-Intra 100), as well as Dual link RGB 4:4:4 output with log response capability. This camera offers a fast P2 workflow, industry-standard DVCPRO-HD, as well as innovative features, with Chromatic Aberration Compensation (CAC), Dynamic Range Stretching (DRS), Film-Rec and variable frame rate recording.
